Dr. Alfredo Jimenez is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Diseases. He completed his residency at University Hospital and Clinics, University of Missouri, Columbia and Fellowship in Cardiology at Washington University School of Medicine and Barnes Jewish Hospital, St. Louis, MO. He was an Assistant Professor of Medicine at the University of Kentucky in Lexington before joining North Texas Heart Center in 1999.
Dr. Jimenez practices general cardiology at Baylor University Medical Center and the Baylor Jack and Jean Hamilton Hospital, with special interests in echocardiography and risk factor modification. He has extensive research, scientific writing and teaching experience. Dr. Jimenez lives in Richardson with his wife and daughter and speaks fluent Spanish.
